Concerns about climate change and interest in sustainable design affect all segments of the building industry. Building professionals who are asked to design and build sustainable buildings may first need to help their clients define their goals for sustainability before moving forward with projects. Meeting the requirement of a rating system provides owners with a metric to evaluate their buildings while helping design teams and contractors set priorities. The focus on this website is to examine some of the rating systems such as LEED, ENERGY STAR and NET ZERO.
