Webinar Description

Many mainstream personal finance texts fall short for Indigenous Canadians and non-Indigenous Canadians alike because they do not speak to the varied backgrounds, knowledge systems, and experiences. This webinar will be on understanding financial empowerment that is relevant for Indigenous people. The focus will be on understanding the relationship between financial empowerment and paying rent and what approaches should be taken for people to understand the budgeting process.

What participants will learn?

  • Understand the role of financing and rent.

  • Help to understand personal finance in order to achieve financial literacy and financial success.
