Passive House (German: Passivhaus) is a standard for energy efficiency that reduces a building’s ecological footprint. It is considered to be the most rigorous voluntary energy-based standard in the design and construction industry today. Some First Nations communities are considering passive housing to address their inadequate housing and energy bills. The focus of this webinar is to give an overview on passive housing and some of the construction principles
