Accessibility and Ramp Construction (Pre-recorded session)

Webinar Description

Wheelchair ramps improve home accessibility for those who are unable to use stairs or who need a gentler, less stressful way to enter or leave their place. The focus of this webinar is on the type of ramps that are available and how to construct a ramp.  It will also discuss some of the challenges to build ramps especially in the north.

Instructional hours

  • Webinar notes/readings materials should be reviewed prior to webinar.

  • 1 Webinar – 30 Minutes to 1 hour per session (Part 2: Dealing with Contractors)

  • Smart phone if you chose to use it for the courses.
